as for the audio Bingo -- they're hearing exactly what you're hearing -- it's just that most people don't talk like a soundboard -- there's more breathing sounds and disfluencies and stuff -- plus, if there's any background noise on the audio people notice that it cuts off when the voice stops

I have the UMMS on the space bar for when we're looking around for something to say, and that helps but there's really no way to get around it completely

whenever we change the setup we do just to be safe -- always with the same result -- that it sounds on the phone exactly how it sounds on the recording

but we've been using the same rig for the last three or four sessions
