Sophie and her creators were back in the news not that long ago and I have been screwing around with this seeing what type of scary responses I could get. I intended on it being a series but she is pretty stubborn with some of the more exotic lines of dialog.

I'm back in all of my 240p glory. I'm keeping the aesthetics retro, guys, with clearly copywritten music to avoid monetization and also show my street cred. It's missing the LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE Comic Sans but I didn't want to push it too far.

I'm not sure if anyone even cares but I thought I'd update this.

After ten years I opened up another YouTube account.  It was due to lockdown and me being unable to work my job for over a year.  The new channel has grown much bigger than that original w3baholic channel in less than a year.   More subs, more views, and I'm making $50k annually.  This will increase over time.

The skills I use on this new channel were very much gained from the first YouTube channel 10 years ago.  I can apply those skills here, and I'm coming up with a lot of original angles which is what I put pride in.  These days we have things live Fiverr so I can assign work out when it's too much for me to do on my own.  So, I think it's easier to do YouTube now, than it was 10 years ago.  Back then I had a lot of ideas but was often overwhelmed by the workload.  I was burnt out.

My stance now is the same as it was when I quit all those years ago - Soundboard prank calls doesn't pay.  YouTube have made their stance clear on this and I fought the battle more than most.  My old channel has ads on the vids because YouTube decided to monitise it and I doesn't get a penny (new policy implemented this month).  What a slap in the face.  But, I make money on the new one.

As much as I loved making soundboard calls I've moved on and there's no temptation to go back.  It's time to move on.  I love all of you guys, I have nothing but great memories, and I hope all of you go on to find success.

Nothing but love, and always yours, w3baholic.

Maybe that one?

But seriously, since the Jackbox has become unuseable due to the war on Flash it's hard to even gather the names for the various lines that you can then use to link to the MP3 on the fileserver. I've got some few ones left in my history. Lots of links, no good ones.

whatever happened to all the fans of System of A Down that jammed out to 'Sugar'? The ironic part is, people who charged the Capitol on 1/6 probably love SOAD... Just like Glenn Beck was basically told by the band Muse to stop telling people  he loved their music... The song 'Uprising' was about people LIKE Glenn Beck... Not to be championed by people like him... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vBGOrI6yBk
So yeah... You got a bunch of unconstitutional racist fucks thinking that they have something in common with their favorite bands... Irony runs so thick these days.
I mean, it's basically like the Beatles' 'Come Together' being championed by neo-Nazis as their theme song to all come together, and them not even seeing the irony of it. Not doing it intentionally to be ironic to piss off the liberals who love the song, just thinking that somehow that song really sums up who they are and what they're about.... ?? .... ?? I'm thinking there really must be some fucked up shit in the water or something. How could so many absolutely batshit crazy people just suddenly emerge from out of the woodwork and try to pull it off like they're mainstream??
If Hunter Thompson was still alive his fucking head would explode. I mean, it did when he popped it with his .45, but fuck... I'm almost glad he bailed when he did. As I'm glad that George Carlin died when he did. To see my heroes have to somehow give us advice on how to deal with the INSANITY that passes for reality nowadays? I don't think any of them could do it without projectile vomiting mid-sentence...
