Loved the return of the Lincoln speech, and the song at the end - what movie's that from?

"Are you busy right now, are ya?"

...the song at the end - what movie's that from?...

it's just the "...Like a tree he'll grow with his head held high and his feet planted firm on the ground..." song from Heartburn we always play, except I picked a note in it and used Adobe Audition to stretch the pitch every note Jack sings up or down to match that note - which, if you had to raise the note a lot makes Jack's voice sound squeaky, and if you had to lower it to get there - it sounds - well, sort of like Dorian Tyrell after he puts on the mask - I heard something similar in a Radiohead song - I think off Amnesiac - where instead of actually singing the differnent notes, it sounds like Thom Yorke just sung one note and his voice was stretched to the right pitch - so what I did is sort of the opposite

On Radiohead's Kid A album the first track "Everything in it's Right Place" sounds like what you're talking about, Jackulator.  I can't find Amnesiac on my HD so maybe I'm thinking of the wrong song.  It was a trip seeing them in concert and how Yorke got his voice to do that ... he uses this touch pad looking thing and spins his finger around to get those effects.

On that call it was funny as hell when the lady thought you sounded more like a kidnapper using a voice box.

I'm not sure - but I think it was for something completely unrelated to the types of businesses jack was calling

So you pretty much randomly pick these places out of a directory online?

we usually use google maps - put in a location and a type of business, but the results aren't always right and sometimes you won't even realize you just called an acupuncture clinic instead of a pizza place until they pick up - but the shock of it and being totally unprepared can make the call funnier sometimes

like you might have somebody ask you - 'you want me to do acupuncture on a pizza?', which is of course a ridiculous idea and completely out of the question for any professional that takes his career seriously, but nevertheless a notion that may inspire some degree of amusement

I'm trying to imagine Jack calling an acupuncture clinic then asking for pick up. That'll freak them out. lol
All the calls seem pretty flawless as far as not knowing where you called..but you have a lot of "uhs" and "ums" to help you out. =)
