oh no - roy probably just did the interrupting thing - find some other phrase on the board that has a beginning you like and then hit 'chicken' part-way through the phrase
that's why I use code to play mp3s rather than having them in the down frames of buttons - you can make new phrases on the fly by interrupting them with other ones

that's usually the way we do it, there are other ways we use as well, but not as often - also don't forget that with close to 13,000 audio files most of what you hear is pre-made clips - even though it's easy to interrupt one clip with another we don't do it that often
