You sir are a god among men, this call had me in tears-seriously.
And how the hell did you have that part about Nicholas against Nicholson?! That was super quick and a creative line. Ive heard people confuse them on the calls before though, he figured it out in the end-poor guy.

One of the best calls ive heard till this date!

thank you kindly sir - about the Nicklaus/Nicholson, I made that clip for a guy at a forum I used to go to all the time -- a guy there saw my sig banner and made some joke about jack 'nicholas' -- the thing is, I've been a Nicholson fan all my life, but because I've also watched a lot of golf over the years, before I started making the jackulator9000 when referring to the big dukaroo I occasionally said 'nicholas' myself, which of course is neither Nicholson or Nicklaus, which is the name of the famous golfer

but yeah, after I made that clip for the guy on the call of duty forum I of course added it to the board

Do you like prank phone calls?

"I love them."

You want to join our website?

"No."

I'd probably be compelled to donate money to the site if you ever managed to get a victim to visit it, let alone join, just because I am in heavy disbelief that anybody would take the time to care about remembering the name of a prank call website while on the job, no matter how much fun it sounded.

"You guys are fucked up."  lol

but you already did donate $30 by proxy - which reminds me, I haven't gotten dan his teeshirt yet... shit.. he's gonna be pissed - I made a promise

and I promised you one too - I let you down - I suppose I could just make something simple, but I wanted it to be really nice, and cafepress's hat sucked when I test ordered from them, so I figured I'd have my friend with a screening thingie for teeshirts help - but he's really busy and doesn't know if he can do more than one color very well - my only other option would be to go to a tee shirt store - and then what if I don't like the results there, I still have to pay... oh well, I'll just get it over with so I don't have to feel like a loser who doesn't follow through on his promises  tongue

"I got crabs, I got herpes, I got nervous"

"Probably hoodwinked quite a few city boys"

And of course the Niklaus/Nicholson bit was fantastic. Another all round great call. I prefer these kind of calls to the more 'random' (as much as I hate the overuse of the word I think it actually fits in this context) batch before it. I reckon if you rang back one of the people who enjoyed talking to Jack and who asked you to ring back could potentially join the website. It's an easy enough name to remember.

I know I feel like such a moron - the girl from the Tony Divorce call would have been a great one to call back

Do you not stil have the number? I don't know how you do things in Jackulator HQ but surely it can't be that hard to find if you remember the name of the company? I also think the girl from the Caffeinated Turkey call would be a good one to call back. There was even one who requested you call back some time and as we know Jack is always willing to go the extra mile to help people look on the bright side of life  smiley

I suppose I could find some kind of DTMF tone identifyer and play back the number we called and have it tell us what the number was - that would be pretty cool

by the way, thanks for getting me thinking about this - I found a great DTMF tone generator, and I tested it out -- works fantastic - I'm gonna build the dialer right into the board, along with some cool features:

1. keep track of numbers dialed so we don't accidentally call people back
2. the ability to paste in phone numbers from web pages
3. automatically dial *67 before dialing the number
4. a buddy list -- for people who have requested we call back

so after that, all I have to do is go through all our best calls and use the DTMF tone generator to help me identify what numbers we called on those pranks and then add them to the buddy list

Ha ha ha... I absolutely loved the end, where Jack so eloquently cleared up the confusion between Jack Nicholson the actor and Jack Nicholaus the golfer.  Nicely done.  Bravo!

Keep up the good work.   cool cool cool
