The cop dreamed about a midged talking weird, but it was talking words backwards, but still hearing it in normal words...idk I should look it up on youtube.
thats the best i could find, the scene is in reverse but you can still hear what the people are saying.

Twin Peaks was directed/created by David Lynch and the music involved Julee Cruise and Angelo Badalamenti; it was an amazing show. And there was a midget that spoke backwards.
