plot points

these are just some (3 separate ones) plot ideas Ive had going around in my head for a long time. curious to see what people think about them.
or tell me which one is your favorite or whatever. tell me what you think

-a young troubled New York prostitute is accidentally shot in the stomach and saved by a stranger. What the stranger asks in return is to stay with her. Only after offering to pay an exorbitant amount, she lets him; and the two polar opposite personalities live together without speaking barley a word, until the young heroine's life begins to fall apart, the stranger gets closer to her and the more she learns about his story the more bizarre it becomes.

-a man owes his boss 500 grand or he'll loose his job. With little options and only three days to get it he decided to resort to something he used to do in his college days; head to Las Vegas with his friend and autistic/savant sister to cheat their way to money. Only problem is, its been ten years since then, his friend has been in and out of jail, and his sister is in a psych ward.

-a man wakes up inside a strange prison with no memory of where he is or how he got there. He is captured and tortured by people who speak a strange language and then thrown into a cell.  With the "help" of his cellmate they escape and then, at gunpoint, they journey across a barren land and the farther the man goes, the more he is convinced he may not be on earth.

I think the third one is very intriguing. I'd like to see how that one turns out. The second one also intrigued me.

the first one sounds good,
second one sounds too much like rain man,
 third one is ok bit like an episode of the outer limits

thanks for the replys. those first two are more like dramas/mystery and the third has more action.

heres three more; 

-A reclusive man with a lot of phobias digs up a box in his back yard that appears to have the power to grant wishes like a magic lamp. Only after wishing a few times the box proves too good to be true, and the more he tires to wish things back  the more things get out of control.

-A boy moves into a new neighborhood with his new foster family. His neighbor is an elderly woman who seems normal enough, until she starts predicting the future, one prediction of which includes the boys own death.

dammit I had another one but I cant remember it, its been a long time since I first thought it up.

I think the third one is very intriguing. I'd like to see how that one turns out. The second one also intrigued me.
