I'm thinking the reason I'm having so much trouble hearing the phrases is that I get used to 'expecting' to hear something. I memorize patterns very quickly, i t's how I play instruments and why I have trouble learning to read music ...
So when I hear anything that even sounds like Jack's rant to Simon's caretaker, I immediately hear "Panama city fart."

You keep making creative new phrases and I keep bustin your balls.  I let ya down...

I was listening to this at work for the first time... I had to quit after he spelled his name and then said "white turtle" - I was trying to choke down a laugh so hard, I was nearly in tears.

And this is after I similarly lost it on the first Farch call. I can't even type it or think about it anymore - I keep cracking up.

So far this call is brilliant. I'm going to make sure the next time I try to listen to it I'm not at work nor driving. I can just see me driving off the road on the way home.
