my latest poem:

while I was in the bathroom
 I had an idea that something had changed, and that something extraordinary was about to happen
 and I knew it was only an idea
 even as I held that idea in my mind
 but in my haste to record the idea
 I became distracted
 and the idea is now lost
 not only to me
 but to all of you, for what it may have been worth
 and for that, I am sorry
