RIP Bruce Hardy

been watching "highway through hell" on netflix.

this 65-year-old guy Bruce Hardy had been a heavy towtruck driver up in the pacific northwest for 30+ years...

saved countless lives. countless dollars in property...

and, if I'm to believe what the show says, suddenly dropped off in productivity and on his last job cost his boss $15,000 for damage he did during a tow job..

and so Jamie Davis forced him into retirement. I said to myself, "I give the guy six months"

because I know the type... his job is what's keeping him alive...

and sure enough in Season 3 Episode 10 at the very end they have a five-second screen saying, "In Memory Of..."

fucking pathetic. I'm not even gonna watch the rest of the episodes. fuck that.

Jamie should have given him another job. he basically offered him a job he knew Bruce wouldn't take -- or retirement.

and Bruce was too prideful to take the other job.

fucking pathetic. guy was only 65 years old.

just chew people up and shit them out --- done.

that's capitalism for ya.

RIP Bruce. I'll smoke one for you brother.
