so here's what I'd like to submit for the contest - a simple reworking of the lyrics of one of their catchier jingles:

so why these brand new terms for crimes that we've already got
we used to call it fraud but now it's our identity

so we don't have to share our shit with people in t-shirtsI hate the whole concept of 'identity theft' because it's designed to change our default perception of fraud and make it about identity so that they can prove to us 20 years from now why it's so necessary to have a national ID, and eventually tag us all with RFID chips with readers all over the place - making any kind of revolt or revolution basically impossible because they will always know where you are and who you're with -- imagine if Hitler had at his fingertips such a massive surveillance system - it's just a horrible idea, but I know why they'd do it - there's a cyclical nature to power - those with it eventually lose it and new people come in and take over - what the powerful want is a way to make sure that they don't ever have to let go of power, regardless of how poorly they run things or whether they like jews or liberals or people who think for themselves...
