weird... bronco said the same thing happened to him the other day -- no worries though, looks like the brand new uploader at prankulator.com was installed just in time

I told dking to upload his stuff over there from now on:

http://www.prankulator.com/fileupload/

also I can upload his board temporarily for you if you like - he went to bed for the night

dking - I figured out the problem - you uploaded this to a section called 'Special Files' which was part of the Team Jack section in the DOWNLOADS center

this section was set so people could upload stuff, but no one but me could view it... no idea how that happened, but I moved it to the member soundboards section so now people can download it cheesy sorry about that pal

there were probably 20 other files in their members had uploaded, and which no one but me could view - I moved them all into the right sections and deleted the Special Files section so it shouldn't happen in the future

just took a look at the board, lookin good so far, only thing i can see wrong with it is how some lines seem to cut off prematurely, with some files it's barely noticable, but i can see that with some it would be noticed.

even so, i love it, chris lloyd's screams are hilarious cheesy

the cutting out probably comes from trying to fade the sound in and out at beginning and end - people usually fade in/out too much when they first start making clips

I zoom way in when fading so that this doesn't happen

another thing I've found that helps - sometimes a noise happens near the end of a word and you can take a little of the phrase before you have to cut it off, paste it on the end and reverse it and fade out the part you reversed - lots of times that helps make the word sound less cut off

i've never used fading, i just get right down into a clip, elongate a sound and clip off the end

when I say fade I mean a tiny amount - like a tenth of a second or less
