Karl Malden has passed away today.He is known for performances in "On the Waterfront", "Patton", and "A Streetcar Named Desire" for which he won the best supporting actor oscar.He was 97 years old.

I didn't know him either because at 97 he was before my time and I haven't seen On The Waterfront or A Street Car Named Desire (I know I should)

But atleast he didn't go young.

I think Karl Malden was a good actor but I am a little disappointed he did nothing else after Patton (1970).   As far as I know, Kirk Douglas is the oldest living legend and at least Kirk has done movies in the 80s and 90s.  On that note, Ernest Borgnine is in his 90s and Christopher Lee is in his 80s and they are both still making movies today.

kirk douglas is one i'm pretty sure of hearing hehe, but i still don't really get a mental image when i hear the name tongue
