the  host moved the site to a new setup on a new server

one of the things they had to change was that instead of the entire site being inside a folder called jackulator.com, now it's inside a folder called jackulatorcom...

which means that the downloads don't work, the gallery doesn't work and god know's what else

I don't know WHY they have to have it like that... but I've got a support ticket open, so it should be fixed in the next few hours... make that days

fuckin bullshit.

It's fun when people move shit around (for unexplained reasons) and then start renaming shit (for unexplained reasons) which only causes trouble and they don't seem to have the foresight to understand this tongue

I know... not having a dot in the folder name -- you know, the one that holds my entire site -- that shouldn't cause any problems right? not really. just in every single HTML and PHP file that contains a link with the dot in it...

I expect we'll find more shit down the road that will need to be fixed. Plus if I want to install new stuff at any point I may run into problems that way too. We'll see I guess.  rolleyes
