and ironically, the police use the excuse of a couple of looters (probably planted by police...) as an excuse to beat, gas, and shoot beanbag guns and rubber bullets at the protesters

in NYC they used an LRAD weapon on the crowd... that's a sonic gun that can cause permanent hearing loss.

I'm just gonna come out and say that those police are objectively bad people. 
Seriously, beating college age women is kind of sick. 

That sonic weapon was supposed to be reserved for extreme emergencies, wtf. 
This type of police response is only going to piss people off more.

Seems pretty redundant, all I see is young college students who want to change the world because they took a few social science courses and read a few Chomsky books VS Cops with small penis syndrome and/or whom have damaged childhoods, probably some bully complex too

clearly there is good cops and a lot of students with good intentions, but imagine if all those people (including some police) demand their politicians to pass a bill where police where subjected to real scrutiny & liability, like a mathematical system based on actions alone where personal bias is irrelevant

One of those goons had the spookiest fucking grin on his face during the whole ordeal, and that's the first time I've ever used the word "spooky" un-ironically. In these situations, I try to have faith in the common decency of people. I naively want to believe that because these police are human too, they will be more hesitant to abuse their authority, and will show restraint in their actions. What if these types of situations continue to escalate, to the point of live ammunition being used?
