made a button a long time ago called a 'story' button, and I got the idea from that chinatown joke jumbler I made back in 2009 or so
but I never really used the button until tonight
basically the story is: Jack's gonna ACTION SOMEONE "right in the" PLACE, LAUGH
and ACTION, SOMEONE, PLACE, and LAUGH all have a bunch of clips associated with them, and each time you hit the button it tells the story -- and laughs at the end, because that's part of this particular 'story'
it's a recording of me just hitting the button over and over, with the background music playing being a new background I made for the board earlier -- made up of a lot of other shit, with weird processing effects all over it. probably sounds good in headphones
also, got the idea to have pieces of music as parts of speech so you could end a sentence with a piece of music or a sound effect
this is what I wrote about an hour ago:
PutSoundEffectsInAsWords(on partsOfSpeech) --
like a fart noise when you want to say something sucks at the end of a sentence and use a sound to say so
just as I finished writing that I tried to fart unsuccessfully and almost shit myself
and as I got up to go to the bathroom I said to myself, "I wish there was a fart noise at the end of THAT sentence..."
