I had this same problem a few years back
it's something to do with mastercard's securecode security add-on that some payment processing sites use....
for some reason no matter how closely I check all of the information is correct, it always comes back 'failed authorization'...
I emailed the guy in charge of the shoutbox to ask if there was any way to fix this.

In the same boat I keep getting myself in impossible situations and feeling a series of unhappiness whiskey helps....even the night after, it makes me romanticize my indifference and solitude with slight ups of smiles and laughter...just feels like medicine, and makes me feel it's okay and natural to feel this way and be me if that makes any god damn sense lol

I'll talk to my bank on monday -- turns out it's something to do with Mastercard, not the site itself.... signed up for a free month on the new platform in the meantime, although once I get it all straighted out we'll be back on the old one -- with all the jack heads I hear ya marley. alcohol definitely takes the edge off.... sometimes all you need is a little change to break you out of a rut... I'm gonna take up fucking bowling. beats the shit out of sitting home every night after work drinking my face off alone. maybe join a pool league too. who knows

what a fucking nightmare
two hours of my life gone forever, with no resolution so far.
eight phone calls... on hold for about 30 minutes total....
my credit union, mastercard securecode, and 2checkout are all telling me there is no way for them to either diagnose or fix the problem, and that I need to contact Shoutmix to fix it... which I did over a week ago and haven't heard back.
so I just emailed him again and outlined all the steps I've gone through to try to fix this -- and maybe that will impress him enough to allow me to make the payment over the phone and skip all the internet bullshit that is broken.
if we get the old shoutbox back I expect a few blowjobs for my effort...
I'm not kidding. actual blowjobs.

came home, intending to just have a few beers, do something fun like play guitar and watch some netflix or whatever, and go to bed. what actually happened was I came home, had a couple of beers, then tried to figure out why I couldn't pay to renew the shoutbox -- because either my credit union, MasterCard SecureCard, or a transaction processing company called 2CO was to blame for a glitch that at the final step would always come back "transaction failed". after 2 hours on the phone -- eight phone calls, 35 minutes on hold and the problem still isn't solved, I've now had half a bottle of fucking tequila, and am wasted. so thanks customer service universe -- thanks to the giant knot of wires and algorithms that no one understands I now have to wake up for work hung over and pissed off. but at least for now I'm good... I should smoke some weed and listen to some Meshuggah
