hicks don't pronounce the 'ee' part at the end of an 'I' sound - they just say 'ahh' - so 'oil' sounds like 'ohl' and 'barbed wire' sounds like 'bob wahr'
got kind of our own little retarded cockney thing goin on over here in the states
I wonder how they'd say 'vaio' - probably 'va-oh'
it's weird though, when she says 'I asked all the questions' she clearly pronounces the full 'aiee' sound, but when she gets into full-on redneck mode with 'Ah won't mah god and Ahh won't mah faimleh' she drops the 'ee' - must be the more stupid and hickish you're trying to feel the more you don't pronounce 'I' sounds
