If not  just for the abridged versions of a few songs, anyone who likes Wesley Willis should like this board

Thats pretty awesome, good job  cheesy maybe I haven't paid enough attention lately, but how do you save the board as a SWF file?
Re: Wesley Willis Autoboard By: jackulator Date: October 15, 2009, 09:18:31 pm
oh - you don't have to - there is only one SWF file - it works for all AUTOBOARD5s -- if you right-click that link above and download it - and put it in any autoboard5 folder you've got it works fine

instead of uploading a zip file for people to download, you can upload an autoboard 5 with this SWF to a location on the internet, but just be aware that for each mp3 on your board, the first time you click it there is a delay (depending on the size of the mp3) while your browser downloads the file to play it, but once you load an mp3 once it will play immediately thereafter because it's already in your browser's cache

this is because the mp3s aren't IN the soundboard - they're loaded in on demand -- in order to have the mp3s be IN the swf file, you'd have to use something other than Flash to make the autoboard 5 (called simply  making a soundboard hehe) - because while you can make EXE projector files that can have external stuff loaded in, you can't import stuff into an EXE file -- so the reason it has to be this way is because of its ability to be used by anyone with any mp3s

but I will for $5 turn any autoboard 5 into a 'real' soundboard for anyone who wants it

Sounds like a good workaround.

yeah - the autoboard 5 isn't really meant for people to make soundboards for uploading - just for using

I could recreate the autoboard 5 so that it would actually create an SWF file when you were done, but I'd have to create it with something other than the Flash IDE -- and figure out how to use whatever programming language to compile an SWF file -- not an easy task
