That's pretty funny, those sound dropouts were killing me though!
What do you use to record your calls?

Pamela to record/skype atm
It's hard getting the sound right. Any suggestions?

Ah, those Skype recorders don't seem to record calls very good, at least not soundboard calls... Try using Audacity to record directly from the speakers, that should make your calls sound better... and as for the dropouts, whenever the person your calling talks/makes noise, they won't be able to hear the soundboard. I think the problem with this call is that place had a lot of noise in the background which was cutting you off.
It does make the call funnier sometimes though.

I will try Audacity for sure thanks.
You're right about Skype, for some reason it cuts off the board when others are making noise. It's the best option for me atm though.

or you could get really good speakers and record with a microphone, get some good acoustics with it, just don't laugh

Yeah, Skype would be a lot better without that little flaw, I'm thinking it might be because both your sound and their sound comes out of the same speaker, some kind of anti-echo feature... I might try using 2 speakers and 2 recorders sometime, then just mixing the tracks.
Anyway, it'd be fun to listen in whenever you make more calls, this stuff is always better live.
