Hey guys.
So I'm turning back between electronic music and metal. Tbh 99% the former, but metal has remained a hidden love of mine that surfaces sporadically.
I've had the same metal collection for almost a decade now. It consists of, obviously, the well knowns (SOAD, Metallica, Rammstein, Fear Factory, ...), melodic Death Metal (Dark Tranquility, Soilwork, In Flames, Killswitch Engage, ...), some Black Metal, Prog. Metal (Dream Theater, Shadow Gallery, Vanden Plas, ...), and some deeper stuff like Tool, Devin Townsend..
I am especially looking for more of the latter. But if you will, just spam me with band suggestions, and I will look into them.

I recently stumbled across "The Fallen State", because it was used as background music for some YT video I watched. Downloaded their album "Three" (THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!). I suppose the style is kind of cheap, but still, a nice throwback to the likes of The Used, Thrice.., which I enjoyed listening to back in the day.

Black sabbath are an interesting band. We went to see them a good two or three years ago, they were in glasgow performing some of their last tours. I wonder if they are still going I think they were making it their last tours and such like. I quite like black sabbath.

I was never a huge fan. I mostly listened to top 40 radio from 5-12 yrs old. after that I just bought CDs or borrowed friends tapes and made mix tapes. but my ear was definitely tuned toward pop, regardless of the style I listened to. ozzy and sabbath were a little off the beaten path for me. but as I've gotten older and heard the odd sabbath/ozzy song one thing is sure -- I just love the sound of his voice. it's strange and interesting. and it fits the music so well. even the 'new' one they play on the hard rock station here in PA I listen to going to/from work: "it's cold in the graveyard. we are rotting bones"... couldnt' have been made THAT long ago. but he still sounds the same.
